Seems like Peter finally banned me, Matt :D

I'm glad it was him rather than any other user, but Peter doing it is totally expected:

Here is what he said on the thread in question:

"Ed- since you obviously have no interest in discussing ANYTHING but your disapproval of the 911 info in Z1, coupled with your neurotic obsession with making sure everyone who comes in contact with you endures your narrow declaration that Z1 is some huge blight for the movement(when, in fact, it is the core generator of interest- still- to this day for the movement), I have come to the conclusion that your interest in the movement is more undermining than anything else. You are not really interested in what we are doing. You are interested in being right in regard to your assumption that you know everything about 911 and that is that- awaiting any debate you can latch onto.
This isn't why I pay for this website. I pay for this website so people can discuss movement materials and relevant topics. It is not an open forum. You are obviously not a member, as needed by the rules we denote. Your contribution is nill and distracting... and I wont even comment on your personal attacks towards myself. It would be different is this was a passive thing... but this is ALL you do...wasting bandwidth... for over a year now.

If you want to debate 911, go to one of the 1000s of other blogs that deal with it explicitly. If you don't like the movement becuase it was inspired by my films and has a name in common - fine - you can go somewhere else.

I am personally suspending you until you grow up and respect our actual drive on this website. If you care to come back and contribute in a meaningful way, let us know."

And on the Moderation suspension/banned list he said:

"User "ED": the long time dweller on 911 and how Z1 is going to destroy the movement, has been suspended until further notice. He has done nothing but complain about 911 for 15 months. He sits in Misc and waits for any break to undermine the movement. He has proven that he does not really care about the movement and does not fit the profile of a "member" by any stretch.
He has been told he can come back if he actually chooses to contribute something in regard to actual movement materials."

Also some rather interesting admissions that "it is the core generator of interest- still- to this day for the movement"

He misses the point of course that eventually you run out of conspiracy theorists and are left with a movement that is discredited by its promotion of lies. Peter says that I should get with the program and not care if the movement promotes lies or not. It brings in new people! Therefore its good!

I let Brenton know since he agreed with me on conspiracy theories. I can't wait to see the repercussions of this.

Also, here are screenshots of his comments:

(in case they disappear at some point)

I like how he didn't comment on the factual accuracy of what I said in that thread or on anything I've ever said.

I'll look at any suggestions if anyone has any. :)

I wont re-register though.

Edward should do a post about it though I think Peter's admissions in this are too great to pass up.

Funny watching Merola bitch about bandwidth use when that hipster shit used Google's free bandwidth to spread his crap. As if your posts could even come close to the use that millions of people watching two hours of lies could.

Ah you see the difference though Matt?

What I'm saying isn't attracting people to the Movement the way his lie filled propaganda rubbish is, and I think its safe to call it propaganda for certain now since he essentially just admitted it ie. It doesn't matter if its true or not if it gets people in. Apparently Peter cant see how Zeitgeist can still be a blight on the Movement if it attracts people to it.

I've seen this happen enough to basically lay it out in big, generic steps:

1) Spread word
2) Change opinion to better suit change in leadership style, even when it contradicts original word
3) Tighten grip slowly, eventually expelling those who do not completely tow the party line

It's interesting that nobody gave a shit about Ed until more and more people started doubting the movement. Along with his "who is peter joseph?" video interview coming out at the absolute perfect time, it seems rather coincidental that as more people start to doubt and ask questions, those who answer that doubt and respond to questions with something other than doublespeak are removed.

Its sort of unsettling reading these kids say how everyone "will be" in the Zeitgeist Future.

People "will do" this. People "will be" that.

Kinda scary.

I just considered something else Peter said.

He complains that what I am saying is taking up bandwidth, why then does he allow these truthers to post all their crap? All my arguments started because THEY were promoting all these conspiracy theories and I was correcting them, and they only felt they could post them BECAUSE Zeitgeist promoted them all in the first place! I never tried to start any 911 debunking threads and the one time I did it got locked, how many times have they done that with conspiracy promoting threads? Never in so far as I can remember! So apparently its fine to promote conspiracies, thats an OK use of his expensive bandwidth, but correcting them... no that's just a waste in Peter's opinion.

From the same guy who said to be proven wrong should be celebrated as well! Amazing!

@Ed

I think he's far more concerned about the questions you raise, rather than the things you question. That is to say, you pointing out how fruitless the movement really is because of its associations, and your direct questioning of Peter himself.

That thread is lols.

"it was just an art piece."

"What is it about quote mining you disagree with? The film uses quotes relatively in-context and cites sources; as any academic paper would. What is the issue here?"

"saying quote mining is a bad thing is saying "don't repeat an interesting point made by another person" "

At least Merola has finally come out and admitted that the Zeitgeist Movement is a conspiracy movement, is primarily powered by conspiracy theories and that its main driver for visibility is conspiracy theories.

And, as a 9/11 Twoofer, he lashed out and censored you despite your commitment to (I think, correct me if I'm wrong, at least agreement with) the non-conspiracy goals of the Venus Project.

Classic.

I'm doing an update on my Zeitgeist blog post to incorporate this. It's going on Twitter too.

It's interesting what the administrator wrote to the original poster who was asking too many questions:

Obviously you have taken little time to review our materials.
Very soon there will be a test to gain entrance into this forum for the sake of making sure these kinds of posts are at a minimum.
The Z Movies are merely inspirations for TZM. You have to actually review our materials to understand what we are doing.

Please review the following before posting more.

[...]

Until you do so, you really have no busniess being here.

For a movement that wants to change the world, it seems they are turning inward and becoming anti-social. They frequently say that the forums are not the movement, yet they want to keep anyone out who is not fully in support. Even the Loose Change forums have a subforum for skeptics to argue their case. There's no dialog with these people.

"I let Brenton know since he agreed with me on conspiracy theories."

I would be interested to know his reaction. Brenton spent quite a bit of time and effort on this forum defending the ZM and trying to convince us that it wasn't really about conspiracies and that the CTs couldn't be less important. Now it seems his boss has pulled the rug out from under that effort.

video source here: http://www.ustream.tv/recorded/5423725</p>

Jacque Fresco:

@1 minute on this clip says "learning how to say I dont know is one of tyhe hardest things you can do" cue applause from crowd, jacque is happy everyone is happy.

@ 1.38 paraphrasing "senators...learning how to grow food so everyone can eat,say i dont know, well what the hell do they know" people chuckle, but here he is contradicting what he said 30 seconds ago.

Apparently everyone else should say they dont know, but senators and politicians are exempt from this, they should say they know.

Is Jacque Fresco exempt from saying I dont know?
Since he clearly doesnt know what the hell he is saying from second to second, perhaps he is a senator of venus, or a politician in the future city inside his head ?.

Hey ed,

I just read through the entire thread of which you were banned, and I must say, your responses were excellent. Just observing how TZM members respond to your posts can be used as a case study for psychology classes. Its AMAZING how they blatantly ignore your evidence. Even the moderators, and even PETER JOSEPH refuse to respond to your posts. If he didn't pop up, I might give him some slack, but his appearance just made it so much worse. I wonder if he realizes this...

It might be cool if we collect all of your posts on TZM forums and put it on a website/blog/whatever. Your rebuttals are some of the best and most well thought out that I've ever seen, especially for 9/11. Whatever sliver of conspiracy theory that was left in my head is forever eradicated.

Wow, thanks for this thread, fun read.

Noticed not one of you bothered to address the issues raised, instead things don't go your way and it's ad-hominem attack, whine, baseless speculation, ad nauseum.

Find the hypocrisy here is quite astounding actually. Always amazed by how little "sour grapes" people do to actually improve things.

Sorry it didn't work out. When you guys grow up and learn that there's more to life than your narrow view of things, you're welcome back. Next time, try to be more useful.

@Joseph Matthew,

I reported your movement and TVP to the IRS for non profit fraud.

Let's see just how imaginary the monetary system is when all these clowns are hauled in by the IRS.

I'll sling ad hominem attacks all day long, because you deserve nothing more. Some people actually donate time and money to improve society rather than jerking off hipsters on a message board.

Oooh good one. Glad to see you're at least trying to help... oh wait, I forgot you confuse destruction with creation. Silly me.

Since you're so obviously comfortable with name calling, it's clear you don't have any idea what the movement is about. The only thing I lament, is that it demands more from you than you are capable of. Thankfully, not everyone is like you; some human rise to the occasion in the face of adversity.

What is the difference between improving the quality of collective understanding & pedantic, attrit ranting for attention?

I'm not trying to help. I am trying to destroy your movement because I find it offensive and stupid. You'll never get rid of people like myself, which is why TVP is a retarded pipe dream. I totally mean that. I would love to see the entire movement completely implode and everyone involved to be humiliated. Because that is what it deserves.

Also fuck you and your bad hair.

@Matt
Now, to tell the truth, I’m not all that surprised that there are people who would rather tear their country apart than articulate an honest ideological opposition and help advance meaningful alternatives to the policies they dislike. But it’s not simply cynicism that teaches me this. It’s history. History is full of guys like you Matt; people intent on blocking human progress because no one listens to their soapbox.

The upside is, the whole "finding a little loophole and driving a wedge into" approach that you employ is slowly starting not to work. People are waking up, and I really have to wonder... how long will you persist with your hate, until someone learns to love you? My guess? Well... good luck.

Still waiting for your alternative solutions to our collective problems... Oh what's that? You don't have any? Surprise surprise.
