Author: Edward L Winston
Added: August 31st, 2009

These are FEMA camps in the State of Florida - for a complete list please refer to the list of camps page.

These camps originate from many combined lists of supposed camps from all over the Internet. For more information see the FEMA camps page.

Camps

There are a supposedly a total of 4 FEMA camps in Florida; in reality none of the listed locations are FEMA camps.

Actual Stats:

Air Force Bases: 2
Immigration Offices: 1
Prisons: 1

Table of Contents

  1. Avon Park
  2. Camp Krome
  3. Eglin AFB
  4. Pensacola

Avon Park

Air Force gunnery range, Avon Park has an on-base "correctional facility" which was a former WWII detention camp

Avon Park does have a Florida DOC prison, but I could not find any evidence of a detention camp ever being there[45].

Camp Krome

DoJ detention/interrogation center, Rex 84 facility

There is no such place as "Camp Krome", there is a place called "Krome Service Processing Center", which is a temporary holding place for individuals waiting their immigration status to be determined or who are awaiting repatriation[46].

Eglin AFB

Description 1:

This base is over 30 miles long, from Pensacola to Hwy 331 in De Funiak Springs. High capacity facility, presently manned and populated with some prisoners.

Description 2:

Elgin AFB This base is greater than 50 miles long extending from Pensacola Bay to Hwy 331 in De Funiak Springs. It is adjacent to Interstate 10 on the North and the Fort Walton Beach vacation spot. REX 84 program, Emergency Custodial Facility.

The base covers 723.632 square miles[47], and there is indeed a federal prison at Eglin Air Force Base.

Pensacola

Federal Prison Camp Everglades - It is believed that a facility may be carved out of the wilds here

I don't understand where they come up with these "beliefs" about what is going to happen sometime in the future at a given location. I can't help but think that they're simply making it up, or to put it in laymen's terms, pulling it out of their anuses. There is a federal prison in this location, but there's not much more to it than that[48].
