A postdiction is the opposite of a prediction. Typically it is a result of hindsight bias, or deliberate vagueness on part of the person making the "prediction". Notable examples include Nostradamus and James van Praagh. Alex Jones commonly references his supposèd "prediction" of the September 11th attacks - but this is just another example of postdiction.
